The Story
Some restaurants become traditions.
For my husband, Candlelight Inn has been one since childhood. Long before I ever stepped inside, he was telling me about their famous wings. It didn't take long for me to understand why this place has such a loyal following.
One of the very first restaurant reviews I ever published on my blog was Candlelight Inn back in 2014. (I've been blogging about restaurants since 2011!) While I love discovering new places, there are a handful of restaurants I return to year after year because they're simply that good.
Candlelight Inn is one of them.
Every Super Bowl, ordering trays of their wings has become part of our family tradition. Whether we're hosting friends or heading to someone else's party, Candlelight Inn is always on the menu. Beyond football season, we still make it a point to stop in for dinner at least once or twice each year.
When a restaurant stays in your regular rotation for decades, it has earned that spot.
